Manners of the Student & Teacher

This course, taught by Sheikh Ahmed Alhomsi, explores the timeless guidance from Adab al-Dunya wa al-Din on the relationship between students and teachers. It emphasizes the etiquette, respect, and responsibilities that form the foundation of Islamic learning.

Students will learn how to approach knowledge with sincerity, humility, and discipline, while teachers will be reminded of the qualities of patience, compassion, and fairness expected of them. These lessons are not only about academic conduct, but also about cultivating a spiritual atmosphere of respect and dignity in the pursuit of knowledge.

By the end of the program, participants will gain a deeper appreciation for the sacred bond between teacher and student, and how observing these manners leads to barakah (blessing) in learning and teaching.
